Taya is a stunning bitch with the most fantastic head, plenty of cheek, small ears, dark and neatly set almond shaped eyes, a strong well muscled neck, fabulous bone, an excellent top line, super tail set with a strong rear and perfect angulation.
Taya gets her best attributes from her dam 'Tameka' who is owned by our close friends Lisa & Colin (Minioso Kennels). Tameka is a proven producer of quality puppies, from Taya's litter alone Tameka produced five Crufts Qualifiers, two Best Puppy Dogs, A Best Puppy In Breed winner and a Reserve CC winner. Tameka was herself sired by a superb dog and proven producer 'Ch. Keskai Best Of British' owned, bred and adored by Sue Sadler, Basha has more than proven his worth within the show ring gaining 19 CC’S with 12 Best of Breeds, 7 Res. CC's. Hewas the Top Akita 2001, and Crufts BOB winner 2002 and again in 2003.Now retired from the show ring Basha is proving himself as a producer with many CC winning offspring, it is through his impressive off spring that Basha was awarded Top Sire 2006 and Top Utility Group Sire 2006.
Taya’s Sire, ‘Nosferatu Toast of New York’ Tiger is full litter brother to 'Champion Nosferatu I'm No Angel' who are both sired by the UK's Top Winning Akita of all time, and the first Britishbred Champion to take both his UK and US titles - 'Champion Redwitch Heaven Can Wait' (Dollar). Dollar is not only an impressive dog to look at but has dominated the breed ring with an impressive 38 CC's to date (Aug 08) making him the new Breed Record Holder. Having recently returned from his trip to America, Dollar is now back on the UK show scene and is once again taking Top Honours!
